Wild Cats

Sri Lanka is home to 4 distinct species of wild cats; the Fishing Cat, Jungle Cat, Rusty-spotted cat, and the bigger, more widely recognized Leopard. While the leopard commands much of the conservation efforts, the others occupy 'locally endangered' or 'near threatened' status. Begun in 2018, our focus on creating platforms for deeper engagement, and improving conservation work on Wild Cats, has been enabled us to achieve considerable results within a short span of time.
